Clearing the day after
You don’t know yet what tomorrow will feel like from here. It might be ordinary. It might be tender, tired, unusually clear, or hard to put into words. Having the day itself free means you don’t have to perform any of that for anyone.
You may want to consider clearing:
- Work, appointments, or anything with a hard deadline.
- Social plans that would require you to be “on.”
- Anything that needs a car, a clear head, or quick decisions.
If you can’t clear the whole day, even a few unscheduled hours in the morning — before anything else has to happen — can matter.
This isn’t about expecting the worst. It’s about not needing to find out, under time pressure, what kind of day you’re actually having.
