Coming back from scale

Some experiences leave a sense of scale behind — how large things are, how small one life is, how much sky there is. When the return to ordinary days happens, the ordinary can feel dimmer for a while. Meals, errands, small talk. That contrast is a common part of the return, not a sign that something broke.

You may want to let the scale sit without forcing it into a belief system or a life change. Scale does not have to become a project. Some people find the quiet business of a normal week comes back on its own; some find the contrast fades unevenly. Neither is a verdict on the experience.
