Making things
Integration guides often suggest making something — drawing, painting, music, collage — as a way of staying with an experience without putting it into words. It is one of the most commonly endorsed practices in the literature, and one of the least studied. Nobody has shown that it works; many people find it worthwhile anyway.
Skill is irrelevant here — the drawing is not for anyone. If the experience had images, colors, or a texture to it, some people find those easier to move onto paper than into sentences.
If making things is not how you process anything, skip this one. It is a shelf, not a curriculum.
