Deep work: looking longer

Last reviewed August 2026

Most of this shelf is evidence-first: what is known, how well it is known, and what it cannot promise. The three pieces gathered here sit one step further out. They borrow from traditions that do not agree with each other — analytic psychology, integral theory, transpersonal psychology, Hermetic symbolism — and they are offered as ways of looking, not as claims about what is real.

They are for the smaller case: an experience that keeps asking for attention after the first weeks, and you want somewhere more structured to put that attention. Nothing here is a next step, and skipping all of it is a complete answer.

If any of this starts to feel like pressure — a duty to get something from the experience — that is the sign to put it down. The experience is not owed a project.
